Bring yoga to your workplace!
- Have yoga in your conference room during lunch or after hours
- Have a smaller business? Want to do yoga after hours? If items can be moved aside, then you have a yoga space!
- Find the time to de-stress from a busy day. Find time for you.
- Do something for your employees that will enhance productivity and creativity.
- Classes can be 1 hour or an express 45-minute class. Each class has 10 minutes of mental and physical relaxation to conclude the session.
- Yoga is a non-invasive practice. It is not disruptive to surrounding offices. The music is soft and low with no jumping on the floor.
- You only need to bring a mat and wear comfortable clothes
- The yoga session is for everyone no matter what body type, fitness level or ability.
- What happens during a typical day at work:
- We slouch causing the spine to compress - yoga will teach stretches that will de-compress the spine allowing more energy to flow to the brain decreasing that mid-day slump.
- We hold our breath or breath shallow which doesn't allow proper breath into the lungs - yoga will teach proper breathwork to slow down the mind and allow more creative thoughts to enter.
- We hold stress in the shoulders and neck which cause headaches and pains - yoga stretches will help alleviate any pains associated with sitting in a chair and looking at a computer screen.
- We don't move the body enough, which allows calcium deposits to develop and mobility of the entire spine to be limited - yoga will improve this.
- Yoga benefits:
- Increased confidence in working relationships (co-workers and clients)
- Boosts immune system for less sick days
- Rejuvenate the body and mind for increased creativity
- Increases Energy
- Improves focus
- Reduces anxiety about failure
